did you ever ask yourself if the EV could one day have the same emotional attachment as the gasoline car?
It is hard to fight decades of history. I would even consider the car as a part of American identity, shaped by tons of movies, songs, personal road-trip memories, etc.
And when I think about all of the hobby mechanics spending hours working on their vehicle.
I come from a "motor-enthusiastic-family" where the garage has always been busy with projects like upgrading mopeds, repairing go-karts, etc. As someone who loves to go on multi-day trips with the motorcycle, it is hard to imagine that I will ever bond that much with an electric motorcycle. I guess it is all a matter of habit.
Do you think the EV will ever be able to replace this kind of emotional attachment? What are your personal experiences?
